Lydia was born and raised in Adams County, Ohio. After earning her Associate of Arts simultaneous to her high school diploma, Lydia attended the University of Cincinnati where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. After spending some time in the Cincinnati area serving indigent survivors of domestic violence and underprivileged youth, Lydia then moved to Louisville to attend the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law.
At Brandeis, Lydia proudly served as a member of the Appalachian Law Caucus and as a student-attorney in the Robert and Sue Ellen Ackerson Law Clinic, where she earned the CALI Excellence for the Future Award (highest grade).
Upon graduating from Brandeis and passing the Kentucky Bar Examination, Lydia practiced Real Estate and Construction litigation in the Louisville Metropolitan area before she conceded to her ‘homesickness’ and returned to Ohio.
Lydia is a first-generation college graduate and remains passionate about her small-town, Appalachian roots. She is excited to be back in Cincinnati and looks forward to serving new and familiar faces. Lydia is licensed in both Ohio and Kentucky.
